Patrick Walsh, M.D.
Dr. Patrick Walsh is a fellowship trained Mohs
surgeon whose primary focus is to surgically remove skin cancers
using the Mohs micrographic surgery technique. Dr. Walsh also
has extensive experience in reconstructive surgical repair of Mohs
surgery defects.
Education
Dr. Walsh graduated from Rice University with
a B.A. in Biology and Psychology. He graduated from the University
of Texas at Austin with a M.A. in Microbiology. He received his
M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch , Galveston
, TX . Dr. Walsh completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at
UTMB John Sealy Hospital , Galveston , TX . He then completed a
residency in Dermatology, a fellowship in Immunodermatology, and
a fellowship in Mohs Surgery/Dermatologic Surgery at the University
of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver , CO.
Dr. Walsh remained on the faculty at the University
Of Colorado School Of Medicine until December 2001, achieving the
academic rank of Associate Professor with dual appointments in
the departments of Dermatology and Internal Medicine/Division of
Medical Oncology.
Dr. Walsh entered private practice in the Fort
Worth area in January 2002.
Currently, Dr. Walsh is a Clinical Associate
Professor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical School.
